The aim of Futuris – Workforce 2030 is to bring together key international thinkers, futurists and leaders, HR practitioners, entrepreneurs, educators, business executives, policy makers and professionals to discuss the future of organisations and the tools they will need to adapt, survive and succeed.
“People are lacking the granular insight that is required — along with the right mindset, philosophy, and paradigmatic approach to writing smart contracts. The biggest problem is bringing synchronous patterns into smart contracts. People still are not understanding what is actually happening beneath their code. They know it is “distributed”, but what does that mean to them?” — Goncalo Sa
We’re hosting our #CryptoLife hackathon in Prague in the days leading up to DevCon4, so that it is easy for you to book a ticket a few days early and come and learn exactly what a new paradigm really means to the people most actively building it.
The Winding Tree Hackathon is your platform to experiment with what the future of travel tech will look like. It’s the time and the place to question how things have been done in the past and to look for fundamentally better ways.
And the best part is you don’t even have to be a blockchain developer to participate, we got you covered with our standard REST API and onsite hands-on complimentary training, mentorship and tons of documentation.
The Global Airport and Passenger Symposium (GAPS) is the platform to discuss the impact of existing processes in the passenger journey and explore how future needs, trends and solutions will shape the way we travel. The Symposium will bring together industry experts, senior airline and airport executives, government authorities and solution providers to explore current opportunities, challenges and recommend solutions to shape the future travel experience.
The future of inflight track on day 2 is curated by XXL Solutions - do things differently. We will cover innovative approaches to inflight entertainment and connectivity, considerations beyond inflight, covering the whole customer journey. We explore what propositions are already out there by airports, airlines and other travel stakeholders along the journey, and what embracing them into a new seamless experience can lead to in terms of customer experience, loyalty, customer insight and revenue. We will also discuss examples of state of the art retail. Will we all be Amazon of the air, or simply digital companies? What step does it take from an ancillary strategy to a retail model? What can aviation learn from retailers where revenues can be optimised throughout the complete portfolio of an airline? What can aviation learn from retailers where data is a key element of the decision making process?
With air travel expected to double by 2036, the industry will not be able to handle the growth or evolving customer expectations with the current processes, installations and ways of doing business. Accommodating growth with even bigger airports will be increasingly difficult - if not impossible.
GAPS has been established to examine the processes that touch the passenger journey, on the ground and in the air, and impact related airport processes and operations. The future passenger journey will not be remiss, and delegates will have the chance to collectively shape future solutions through panel discussions, innovation sessions, and partake in the development of the future passenger journey storyline.
This Symposium will bring together airline and airport executives and managers who cover everything from terminal and ramp operations, baggage operations to security screening as well as government and authority representatives, technology and solution providers.
This event is dedicated to exploring the many ways to harness the power of big data to shape the future of our industry.
Our CEO Ursula Silling was in the jury at the IATA Hackathon in Kochi earlier this year. She will share her experiences during the innovation session at the event.
Ursula Silling, CEO & Founder at XXL Solutions and Managing Director at think future - Hamburg Aviation Conference will be a member of the judges for the start up competition at this year's travel tech con. The winners will participate at think future 2019.
We at XXL Solutions do things differently and help aviation and travel companies to transform as well as innovative tech companies and start ups to understand customer needs to build better products and to get known. We love supporting the start up community - new approaches are so urgently needed in the industry. We will be sharing our impressions from this event in Silicon Valley.
